1992 ford mustang lx coupe (notchback)
Dark emerald green exterior with gray interior with 67k original miles.This car is a V-8 5 speed with power options but ordered without a/c when new. The car is a great example of a nice driver quality car that can be enjoyed, or taken to shows but with it having 67k miles on it there are normal blemishes that a car with miles on it will have.
This car does have some tasteful mods done to it, which makes it lots of fun to drive and it sounds great so it gets the attention of anyone who enjoys the sound of a fox body mustang. Here is a overview of the mods the 302 still retains its original short block but the heads, cam, and intake have been upgraded with a set of aluminum Edelbrock performer heads with 1.6 RR, custom cam, and a 93 cobra intake that has been ported.It has 30 lb injectors, bbk 70 mm throttle body, pro-m cold air intake,and a msd ignition.It has full exhaust bbk longtime headers, bbk offroad x-pipe, flow master mufflers exiting through 2-1/2" lx style tailpipes. The suspension has been lowered with Eibach sport springs,M&M caster camber plates, HPM lower control arms, and weld in subframe connectors.To finish things off it has a b&m ripper shifter, aluminum driveshaft, and 4:11 gears.The car put out 317 hp and 340 torque at the rear wheels on the dyno when tuned. Even though the car has been tuned it does take it a few seconds to find it's idle when starting it up, but settles in nicely after a few seconds of searching.I do have the sheet showing this info, and I know someone will ask but I have not taken this car to the track so I don't know what times it will turn.
On the exterior the paint is still original except for the front bumper cover has been repainted to freshen up the front of the car, it matches very well.The car still has all the vin tags in place and visible except for the front bumper cover from the repaint (see pic), there are some chips in the paint on the hood and on the lower section of the car behind the tires.The wheels are a custom set of 17" basket style wheel to give it a more modern look but still appear period correct, they are wrapped in a brand new set of bfg sport comp 2 tires.One wheel has had a repair done to where the center cap screws on but is not visible once the center cap is installed.The interior of the car is still in good condition, clean and well kept over the years but the drivers seat has a seam that has started to separate which is shown in a pic, it doesn't stand out but it is there.The trim and moldings are in great shape for its age, the paint and interior are clean, and the car runs and shifts as you would expect.Overall the car is a nice example of a car that is now 24 years old, there are some blemishes here and there but this car still stands tall anywhere it goes.
