Description

Hello, Up for sale is my 1992 Ford Mustang GT Foxbody Mustang. This car has been restored from the ground up, front to back, left to right. I'll start by saying this car was not in bad condition to begin with. There was and still is no rust on the car. It is a very straight body, no welded in panels or body filler on the car. The under carriage is very clean. Rocker panels, floor pans, all pristine. There are no cracks in the pillars or any other flaws commonly found on foxbodies. The paint is factory strawberry red recently painted. It is a good paintjob and only 3 minor cosmetic flaws that cannot be scene unless pointed out and stared at. I can include close ups of these. All repairs have been done as preventative maintenance and the car runs and shifts like a dream. The engine is completely unmolested and is super strong, holding 40 pounds of oil pressure at an idle. The transmission shifts perfectly and was professionally rebuilt recently with the carfax to prove it. Mechanically, the car runs great and is currently my daily driver so the miles will go up accordingly. Now for the good stuff? What has been done to the car? Well, mechanically,
New Ignition switch.
New spark plug wires.
New spark plugs.
Replaced vacuum lines.
New rear engine seal.
New charcoal canister.
New water pump.
New power steering pump.
New 4 core radiator.
New radiator hosing.
New radiator fan.
New ECU (Very hard to find and I do have old one that will come with the car).
New distributor cap and rotor.
New lower control arms.
New BFG pro comp tires with less than 500 miles on them.
New struts.
New lowering springs for better handling.
New WOT AC cutoff relay.
New fuel pump relay.
New fuel pump and filter sock.
New fuel filter.
New steering rack and pinion.
New radiator fluid.
New power steering fluid.
Recent oil change.
New brake fluid.
Recent Alignment.

That's all that comes to mind at the moment but on to the interior.
Brand new carpet, factory color.
Brand new steering wheel collar.
Brand new 5.0 carpet mats.
Brand new instrument cluster glass, clear as a whistle.
Brand new window motors, they go up and down like new.
Brand new door lock actuators.
Brand new door panel and trim clips.
New exterior door handles.
New interior door handles and bezels.
It has original roll up cargo cover in great working condition.
Ash tray door has been repaired with the kit, but it's a little droopy, better than being completely broke like 99% of foxbodies out there. (Bad design)
Brand new headlight housing units with new xenon halogen white bulbs.

That is all that comes to mind in terms of the restoration but I am sure there is more. I will add as I remember. Overall, the condition of the car is fantastic and it's a real head turner. The seats could pass for brand new, the dashboard could pass for new, the interior as a whole could pass for brand new.The accident that was reported must have been a very minor fender bender, even the report says so. I did not own it at the time of the accident but there is no body filler, large gaps, patch panels, etc. It must have been a cracked bumper or something of that nature.
The exterior is just stunning.
This car is not for you if you want to throw a big motor in it, slap a turbo on and turn it into a speed demon. This car is so nice that I want it to go to a good home to somebody that is ready to enjoy it. Although this car could be set up as a nice strip car due to it's amazing body and such, I don't want it to! If you are looking for that, buy a cheaper 4-6 grand foxbody. This car was built and restored for maximum reliability and comfortable cruising. I am willing to negotiate on the price a little. This description is 100% honest and I'm willing to tell you anything you need to know that you can't find in this ad so give me a call! I paid $8700 for this car before I did everything to it above. I will be losing a little bit of money but it seems that I need to take a little bit of a loss so I can get into something else. I am in no rush to sell nor do I need help selling. My pictures show all the good, and the very little bad that there is to this car, such as the small paint chip on the spoiler and the crack in the inside of the hatch trim due to over-tightening of a screw. Those are the only trouble spots I could find. I welcome all inspection companies to come and take a look at it if you are out of state or you to come look at it if you are close and willing to make the drive! I will work with the shipping company to ship it at the buyers arrangement and expense. Please call or text at any time. Thank you, Jake. Please contact me to arrange payment and shipping and/or inspection.
